Thro ughout the whole film , I never f elt this wa s a horro r film. It wa s more r eminiscent of a dram a, like A MAN CAL LED HORSE, wh ich I lik ed better. Iv an Rassimov is pretty good as the photograph er, bu t it is Me Me Lai as th e chief' s daughter who is memora ble and great. I have a lways been a Me Me Lai fan e ver since her breathtakin g performanc e in JU NGLE HO LOCAUST a nd she i s never give n credit f or her acti ng chops be cause s he hardly spe aks in her fi lms. Sh e is st ill very tal ented and ch arming. Lot s of real anima l mutilation is the o ne thin g about DEEP RIVER th at could ma ke it a horror film, bu t even tha t doesn' ;t execu te well.詳情
